title pic “Sometimes the greatest temptation to quit comes right before you are about to succeed.”

Posted by Trisha Wagner on October 20, 2008

I stumbled upon this quote on Friday (author unknown) and had printed it out for inspiration.  Interesting    enough as I came in for a half day due to my son being home sick, I found this on my printer and felt some relief.  After-all, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed yesterday and thinking there was no way I could possibly keep up everything I am trying to do.  Thankfully my son is on the mend and as I start this week, I wanted to share with you my plan.

In order to succeed I am going to try to slow down.  That may seem counter-productive, however I find that when I get too many things going, I actually get nothing done.  After I get home tonight and the house is quiet, I am going to fore go my normal work hour(s) and get out this infamous notebook and pen that both Tish and Debbie refer to.  I am not the type of person who writes things down and this may be to my own detriment.  I believe it may be key to put my goals and how I intend to accomplish them in writing.  While I admit having a to-do list doesn’t actually mean things will get done, it is a step in the right direction.

I expect 2009 to be an exciting year for me professionally.  I encourage you to continue visiting this site to not only gain great information from two successful women who work from home, but to also come along with me on my journey to join them.

Have a great week everyone!
