This Week…

You know how you can sit at work all week and not a single thing happens and then Friday at 2pm everyone and your mother needs something from you? Well, that about sums up my week in detail. I have been doing a lot of marketing work for local businesses and probably have sent out hundreds of emails this week. On the writing side, I am awaiting deposits and contracts to be finalized. Not once this week has anything come to fruition. It’s been what I call a slow week.
We talked about roller coaster days and your ability to go along for the ride being a key component in being able to run your own business. It isn’t easy. Patience is also a virture that isn’t easy to maintain when you are working for yourself. Hurry up and wait is commonplace in my world. Of course every business is different but anyone in business should have the same goals: making money and making the business work.
I’ve had the pleasure of exploring a lot of blogs this week during some research and it is so interesting to read some of the perspectives others working at home have on things. We hope to bring you lots more information you will find useful, both as a mom and as an entrepreneur. We are also happy about our first giveaway from Bingo Records. It really is incredibly good music for the whole family!
